A retrofit adds digital detector capture to a compatible existing system. It can let a facility evaluate DR without replacing every room component. Compatibility is specific to the generator, mechanical fit, acquisition setup and intended application; it is not a universal plug-in conversion.

Separate the panel from the kit.
A detector-only offer and a turnkey retrofit package can have very different inclusions. Request a written list of the panel, software license, computer, monitor, network equipment, batteries or charger, accessories and installation work. Identify which existing components the proposal assumes you will reuse.

Plan the changeover before delivery.
Include room access, power and network readiness, the current CR workflow and your preferred downtime window in the inquiry. Keep responsibilities clear: what your practice prepares, what GSI supplies, and what an installation partner will do if one is needed.
A mobile retrofit is a separate configuration discussion. Give the exact mobile unit model and the environments where it will be used rather than assuming that a room package is interchangeable.
